Let's face it. We all wonder it. The big WHAT IF, if Obito had survived the cave in. He'd return to Konoha, confessed to Rin, and eventually became the fifth hokage after Minato. He'd have won over Rin's feelings with his persistence and even seen Naruto grow up, probably changed a couple of his diapers and babysat him at the same time. That's the ideal world.

I think this AU should get its moments, so I'm going to play Rin, the future Mrs. Obito Uchiha, because she's worth it. She's a talented kunoichi and is a masterful medic nin, which comes in handy because those boys of her keep getting banged up and bruised from all that training and mission-going.

- The Uchiha Massacre never occurred. Danzo is under arrest and Itachi is still Konoha shinobi.
- Orochimaru is still at large | the Kyuubi is still sealed inside of Naruto due to Kushina's seal being irreparable after childbirth.
- Sasuke is still a little prick. Did you expect that to change?
- Naruto still wants to be Hokage someday, but currently, he looks up to Obito.
- Obito and Kakashi are both fans of Icha Icha and it drives Rin nuts.
- Obito and Rin are dating | she confessed to Kakashi first but he turned her down lightly. After Obito confessed, she took time to consider her boys and decided to spend more time with Obito and go out on dates. By the time they're entering the jounin trials, they've been dating five months already.
